OUR APPROACH
Phase 1 Assessment: The assessment serves to clarify and measure the persons: 1) business concept; 2) level of business knowledge concerning business planning and application; 2) level of management skills and experience that contribute to operating a business; 3) level of investment of time, energy and capital resources to be applied against the business; and 5) aptitudes, values and attitudes towards self-employment.
Phase 2 Business Plan Development: With the assistance of our business coach, the individual then creates a business plan that articulates the business vision, mission, operating principles, goals, structure, programs, goods or services, market place analysis, marketing and selling strategies, operational strategies, and financials including cash flow and break even analysis.
Phase 3 Skill Enhancement: Based on the assessment, our business coach will recommend a developmental plan for business and management skill enhancement.
Phase 4 Coaching and Mentoring: Our business coach is available to work through specific personal and business issues during the start-up phase.
Forty percent of business start-ups close within the first two years. Eighty percent of the remaining close within five years. Fontanie Associates has assisted over 150 start-up businesses with a success rate of over 80% over a five year period.
